 Overview of Parasitolgy:
Parasitology research unit covers a broad range of parasites research from the diagnostic to epidemiology and control level. The major aspects of work are focused on:

1.  Diagnostic aspects of the parasites i.e. molecular, biochemical and immunology

2.  Epidemiological aspect of the parasitic infectious and diseases in particular visceral leishmaniasis, malaria and toxoplasmosis

3.  Controlling of the parasitic infectious and diseases in particular visceral leishmaniasis

4.  Entomological studies of the leishmania and Malaria parasites

5.  Developing of new herbal and natural products for controlling leishmania and malaria vectors
